Little wonders... just let your troubles slip away.

This is one of the more meaningful songs I've heard this year (last year was Sarah McLachlan's "Ordinary Miracles" and Jem's "Once in Every Lifetime"). Sometimes things may seem overbearing, but hold on to yourself and let the troubles go - in the end, only you will matter and the rest is just a memory. It may be a painful recollection, but memories can no longer hurt nor harm you, unless you let them. So just hold on, don't forget to hold on and let your troubles slide away...

(P.S. I've streamed the music here. Though it's been compressed, I'd seriously recommend broadband connection to hear it.)

Little Wonders - Rob Thomas

Let it go,
Let it roll right off your shoulder
Don’t you know?
The hardest part is over
Let it in,
Let your clarity define you
In the end
We will only just remember how it feels

Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders,
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours still remain

Let it slide,
Let your troubles fall behind you
Let it shine
Until you feel it all around you
And I don’t mind
If it’s me you need to turn to
We’ll get by,
It’s the heart that really matters in the end

Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders,
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away,
But these small hours,
These small hours still remain

All of my regret
Will wash away some how
But I cannot forget
The way I feel right now

In these small hours
These little wonders
These twists & turns of fate
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away but these small hours
These small hours, still remain,
Still remain
These little wonders
These twists & turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours
These little wonders still remain

Cool song! It's Rob Thomas, so I shouldn't be surprised I'd like it.

The words are great... and so true! Thanks for sharing this on your blog!

Hey Chris! Sorry for not writing for so long! Hope everything's still fine with you and all!

Yup, I simply adore this encouraging song - braces the heart, you know? Anyway, I am also thinking of streaming Jem's "Once in a Lifetime". What d'you think?
